Animals, Taffie enjoyed animals, now lets just hope the people at the ranch didn’t mind her showing up to pet them today. Taffie was walking along the brick path, hoping that someone would stop her from doing the bravest thing she had ever done, but had wanted to do ever since she wandered into this small town. She wanted to check out the ranch. Bad. So she was going to do it today, she was determined too, it was in the afternoon so the cows should be grazing. She had it planned out, she was going to go in, pet the animals for at the most fifteen minuets and leave. No one would even know that she was there, yes, things would be fine. Right? Taffie still couldn’t help but worry that someone would yell at her. Or worse she’d hurt one of the animals, or it’d step on her foot other evil thing that animals tended to do. Then again she’d probably start with cows, cows seem to be less active then a horse or a sheep. She’d go in this order, cow, sheep, horse. Yes, that should work out fine.
Finally Taffie stepped into the big yard where she could already spot the animals wandering, they where so good for not trying to break out. Well that or to stupid, but either way she’d have a nice time, she new she would. After preparing herself for a moment and mustering up the last bit of courage she had, she walked over to the closest cow and ran her tiny fingers along it’s coarse fur. The cow was fully gown, but a smaller cow for it’s age, and she almost screamed about how adorable the thing was. She was so happy, she kept petting the side of it for awhile, happy as can be. Taffie was in pure bliss as she felt the soft furn on the warm cows body.
The cow was black and white with random splotches of black through out it’s fur. Adorable was the perfect word for it, and it’s eyes where big and brown as it had grass sticking from it’s mouth as it ate it. “You’re so cute Mr. Cow!” she said wrapping her arms around her neck, and forgetting that the cow wasn’t hers to cuddle, but she did snuggling against his warm fur as happy as can be.

"Hoo-whee"
Omari cries out after chopping apart the last chunk of wood with an ax. Afte which he takes a seat on the ground and wipes the sweat from his forehead. He takes a a big breath and starts laughing to himself. He's a bit wiped from chopping so much wood for lumber but he's happy he was able to get all done before the evening hit. Now Omari has some extra time on his hands now which he's most likely going to use to rest up because his arms are starting to feel a bit sore. He's not even angry about it; that means not only did he get done early he push some of his limits and got a good workout out of it. Now before he decides to pass out and relax, he should get a drink of water as a reward.
As he gets a drink from the hose, he spots a young girl climbing into the yard. "Hmm..." He decides to go check out the girl. He darts over completely forgetting how exhausted he was a couple of minutes ago. He stops at the gate of that the cows stay in. He limbs up and takes a seat at on the gate and observes the orange hair girl who is now barely 20 feet away. He grins as he watches her pet the small cow and enjoy herself. In his opinion she was being just as cute and adorable as the cows were.
"Having fun there, lil' missy?" he calls out to her, finally making his presence with a big grin on his face.

She was in heaven, pure bliss. As long as it wasn't trying to trample over her in fear. She was pretty ugly, he probably would do that if he was looking at her face. Though now wasn't the time to be sad, she had an adorable animal to cuddle. So when she kissed the side of his head ad using that strange little baby voice people use when talking to animals stated. "You're such a good boy~ Oh yes you are~." she said to the cow happily.
That was when she heard a voice behind her. Though she didn't catch what it said, but in her head whoever it was was yelling, she instantly ran to the other side of the cow and hid behind him, her face bright red and closed her eyes. Oh no! She was in so much trouble, she shouldn't be there, part of her told her to run but her legs wouldn't move so she just stared at a boy that wasn't much older then her in appearance at least. He didn't seem mean but you never knew people could always be angry, eventually she stared at the ground blushing deeply stilly.
"I-I'm sorry..." was all she could stutter out after being scared of her mind. "They where just so cute.. I couldn't resist.... I'm so sorry..." though her voice was still quiet, she probably should have spoken louder but she was just scared out of her wits that she was going to get yelled at it really didn't matter to her. Omari snickers a bit as he sees the the young girl jump when he calls out to her. Her running behind the cow makes him grin even more. This girl is really funny as well as adorable. What's she going to do from behind Nessie (his name for the cow)? He didn't get many visitors up here at the ranch unless they were merchantmen. If they were merchantmen, then he would leave them to his boss. This girl is definitely not a merchant. His curiosity begins to take off.
With that he hops off the fence and starts walking to Nessie and the young girl. Since the girl is carefully hidden by the cow Omari decided to have a little fun. "Hey Nessie, Ah could've sworn Ah saw someone out here wit' ya; where ya friend done run off too?" he says standing on the other side of the cow. "She was real pretty too. Sure y'all didn't see which way she went?" he pauses as the cow turns and looks at him.
Then he hears a small quiet voice speak out to. Sounded like 'I'm sorry'. Wanting to keep the joke going, Omari puts on a fake surprised face and jumps back a little. "Whoa, Nessie! When y'all learn to talk?!"

Those where bulls... She tried to focus on that when the boy's voice had danced into her ears again. It seemed that she had hidden herself well enough she stared at some grass swaying in the cold Autumn wind, trying to stay invisible. She blinked as the guy commented on her words, as if it was the cow talking, she blinked was that guy really that stupid? Or maybe he knew that she was there and was just messing with her. She hated being messed with.
She considered standing up and calling him a jerk for messing with her, but it could be that he was stupid. All she knew is that she needed to stop feeling so nervous, she felt scared that this boy would yell at her. She'd have a panic attack if things kept going as they where, but she couldn't just get up and run that might make things worse. She sighed and lowed onto her hands and knees hoping the guy was just stupid and wouldn't stop her as she began to crawl away slowly. Omari continues to grin away at the girl behind Nessie. Omari did love a good laugh and he's having it at the poor girl's expense. Of course to him, its just good clean fun. He can't actually notice how terrified the young girl is since she's behind the cow. He's actually hoping the young lady might say something else from behind Nessie so the joke could keep going. He crouches down and adjusts the straw hat on his head with a smirk.
He waits a couple of more moments before thinking she might not be talking anymore much to his displeasure. He can see under the cow and spot her about to move away. Which prompts him to act in the only way he knows how; something reckless and stupid. He stands back up and takes a couple paces back. he then charges straight for the cow and leaps up and over the cow as well as the young girl attempting to crawl away. he lands and rolls a couple of feet in front of her. Out of the roll he goes back into his crouching position, holding his hat on his head, and looking straight at the pretty young redhead. "Well howdy there lil missy, y'all weren't planning on leaving? That be a tad impolite, don't cha think?" he says with his southern drawl.

Who thought cows could talk and was apparently half blind. She wondered for a moment if things where finally going to go well for her as her knees dug into the dirt, hoping that she'd be able to escape, and in fact knew she could, almost getting the courage to get on her knees and run. Though, before she could, the boy fell in front of her, making her scream and fall backwards onto her hands, and looking at him. "I just..." she started to speak nervously, just wishing that the boy would go away. She couldn't get the scared feeling out of her chest and it was a feeling she hated. She just wanted the boy away...
Taffie sighed looking up at him nervously, trying to figure out how to put it. She needed a good excuse, though he didn't seem mad. She took her last bit of courage that she'd probably have all day and stood up, dusting off her skirt and took a deep breath. "I just didn't want to be in your way." she said with a firm nod, putting up that tough act she attempted to show off all the time. She wouldn't let some kid have the best of her, not today. Not ever. She looked at him with her arms crossed, hoping that he'd by the fact she wasn't scared of him. I mean, why would he think she'd lie to him after all, they had just met and he had no room to judge.
