"Thanks for the boat ride, old man!" A very rather perky looking young girl leaped off of the boat, onto the wooden docks. The girl flipped her luscious pink hair, and reached into her big, brown, leather bag. "Hm... let's see... ah! Here you go!" From the bag came out three gold coins, in her palm. She gave them to the captain, smiled and waved, and skipped her way off.
'Hm~ What to do, what to do... gah! Why did you even come back to Waffle Island in the first place, Elissa?!' Elissa sighed to herself. She was a singer who often traveled the globe, mainly because her parents could care less for her. Her parents found her to be, um, er- a disappointment. So, they ignored her. But, Elissa didn't really care. Because she's been ignored, she's granted more freedom than her other siblings. More time to have fun, meet new people and things. 'Oh.' Elissa blinked for a second, when she noticed someone. 'Could it be...?'
'No way! It is!' Elissa's eyes widened, and sooner before she knew it, she was running towards a figure. When she got close enough, she then started tip-toeing. She had a little surprise planned for her old friend. After being an inch away from him, she hugged him from behind, and squealed, "SURPRISE~"

"Alright." Elissa giggled, plopping herself down next to the boy. The boy in question's name being Caesar. Elissa took a quick look at him, since it's been years since the two last met up. His blonde hair that was once short, was now long enough that it could be tied in a ponytail or any other hairstyle. (Which Elissa will make certain to do, some time.) He also was wearing some very beautiful and what Elissa would call 'shiny' or 'sparkly' bracelets and necklaces. His clothing was the same as always, being white, and beautiful. Elissa was almost afraid to admit that he was more beautiful than she is.
Elissa then finally spoke. "Wow~ So, how long has it been, since we've last seen each other? It feels like forever, hasn't it? What have you been doing all this time? Are you working somewhere? How's your brother, Rowen?" Elissa asked all her questions towards Caesar very fastly, and then giggled as she reminisced about Caesar and his brother, Rowen. 'Those two have been so adorable with each other since we were young~ Ah, brotherly love.' Elissa stood up, clasped her hands together, and looked upward towards nothing, her eyes gleaming as she daydreamed.

"Huh?" Elissa went from daydreaming to looking at her old friend. He seemed... sort of sad. She noticed as how he let his hand play with the strands of his hair. Elissa remembered how it was a habit of his since they were kids. He then spoke, and Elissa immediately felt terrible for mentioning Rowen. 'It doesn't make sense, though... those two were always attached to each other like two people who are lovey-dovey... I wonder what happened?'
To cheer her friend up, Elissa smiled mischiveously. She then said, "Hey." and pulled on a strand of his long, blonde, hair, to get his attention from the ground to herself. She then smiled and said gently, "Come on. Don't be such a downer. Cheer up." An invisible light bulb then appeared over her head. She stood up once again, and declared, "I'll help you get your brother's love back!" She clenched both of her fists.

"Of course I'll help you! What are friends for?" Elissa put her hands on her tiny hips, giving Caesar a prideful smile, a smile that had words such as 'count on me' etched on it. Elissa was burning with passion. She was a 'fan' of the two since she was young, and was always daydreaming with wedding scenarios. She fondly remembers one that she dreamt of when she was eight, with both Caesar and his brother, Rowen, wearing dresses meant for brides. Caesar's was white, of course, while Rowen's was the same color as his hair, besides being a much lighter shade of red. Unfortunately for Elissa, though, she didn't remember much about the kiss. 'Alright, Elissa. If you want make that dream a reality, you have to fix the problem between the two.' Elissa was blushing heavily just thinking about what would happen if the wedding were to happen in real life.
"Oh, by the way, why did you two get into a fight in the first place?" Elissa asked Caesar seriously.

Her words were highly convincing, along with her following actions. A look of pride seemed to come over her face. Hands were placed on her hips and an aura of defiance beamed from her being. Caesar smiled. "Thanks." He said softly. "You're the greatest." Words of sincerity escaped parted lips as he gazed up at her through hopeful eyes. Just looking at how serious she was instantly filled him to the brim with hope. Maybe he could earn back the love of his brother, especially with Elissa's help.
Her next question caused his breath to get caught in his throat. Caesar began chewing feverishly on his lower lip. Didn't she know? He was afraid to say anything. "Well..." He started. "Rowen wanted us to be together, and I was afraid, so I said no. He's hated me ever since." The video of his past played over and over again in his mind. It was a horrible heart-wrenching scene that Caesar wished he could get rid of, but it was burrowed deep inside the core of his mind. His brother was like an earwig leaving deep inside his mind. It was almost like he wasn't there, and then someone mentioned him and pain ensued his mind as he remembered the heartache.
His thin legs were itching to carry him off to Rowen's, but there was a tint of fear that cemented his feet to the sand. Caesar gazed at Elissa, his eyes growing dull as he slowly began to lose faith in himself and the plans that were sure to come. He didn't know if he was strong enough to confront his brother after so long, but there was a part of him that was strong, telling him he needed to clear up the conflict that had split them up. There was another conflict. What if Rowen had moved on and forgotten about him? That couldn't happen, could it? They were brothers, they were so close, but people erased each other out of their minds all the time. Maybe Caesar was just a small bug, barely an existence to his brother.

"Oh, no problem! And of course! I am the great Elissa Mozerie, after all!" She was in her prideful 'mode' again, standing in a stance similar to it. She then gave Caesar a softer look, and put one of her hands on one of his shoulders. "And besides, we're childhood friends. You and Rowen are like brothers to me. In both the caring, and humiliating sense." And she said the last part with a completely straight face.
"W-wait? HE CONFESSED TO YOU? AND YOU REJECTED HIM?" The fangirl in Elissa awakened. Angrily, she took a lacy glove off of one of her hands, and started slapping Caesar with it. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? YOU IDIOT! I THOUGHT YOU LOVED HIM TOO!? IF ANYTHING, THIS IS YOUR FAULT! Ah." Elissa caught herself. "Oh, I'm sorry Caesar. I didn't mean it like that." She said apologetically.

Looking at her brought him much joy. She seemed completely and utterly proud of her words, and determined to make things right again. But if Caesar couldn't make things right, how could she? The blonde wasn't one for confrontation, so that might have been the key thing holding back the reconstruction of the long lost relationship between the two. "If anything it was Rowen doing all the humiliating." He said with a chuckle and a playful roll of his eyes. "You should know me better, Elissa. I'm too sweet and loving." He batted his lashes at her in a playful way, smiling brightly at her. It was true that back in the day Caesar had once been a playful companion. Losing his brother's love must have set him down another course. The course of seclusion and depression. He shook those thoughts from his head. This wasn't a time to act depressed over something so stupid. It seemed like no matter what tense he was in, there was nothing but sadness. It actually angered him in a sense.
The next reaction from Elissa was quite unexpected. He should have known better. She was such a wild character, and being such a strong supporter of the young brother's love, he should have expected this to happen. The lashing was something that he needed to hear. He was well aware of it being all his fault, but he didn't want to admit to it. "Elissa, you don't even know how much I regret my decision everyday." He said, even though she had already apologized for spewing such words at him. "Not only did I lose the one I loved, but I lost my best friend." His words were soft as he stared off into space. He could go for a hug right now, but not just any hug. A hug from his brother, the one he missed and loved so dearly.
This love was nothing but a curse. Everyday the guilt of what had happened chipped away at his being. It was painful. "I miss him so much." He whispered softly. His heart ached as he thought about it. Caesar wanted nothing more than to curl up in bed and cry. He could go back to his depressing room at the inn - only proving he failed at life since he had no job - and sit alone in the darkness to reminisce on the painful past he had thrown away.

Elissa felt sadness overwhelm her heart for her poor, and dear friend. She has known both Caesar and Rowen since she was a kid, and even though Caesar was the most quiet of the two, she has still never seen him so quiet and depressed. 'Wait.' She thought to herself, looking at Caesar closely. 'I will not let the sadness win! I won't let it grow in his heart! It is my duty, as one of his childhood friends, to insure that he will remain happy! And to do that, I must encourage him!' She then told Caesar with a smile on her face, in a cheerful tone, "Hey! Don't give up just yet! Look, this is just as expected from the two of you. You are both brothers, after all. You're bound to have a slump sometimes." Elissa beamed, and grabbed his hand. "And the time to get out of that slump is now! Come on!" Elissa yanked his arm, trying to get him up.

The blonde listened to her voice chime softly in his ears as she tried to reassure him. To be honest, the young man had lost most of his hope in the resurrection of their friendship. Deep down he was beating himself up for being so pathetic. What had Rowen done for him anyways? He left him. If it was true love that he had felt, he wouldn't have been so desperate to escape from Caesar's life. Instead of feeling sorry for himself he was beginning to feel anger and frustration towards his brother. The young man wouldn't say anything negative to Elissa, though. He wouldn't even act angry or frustrated. His blue gaze landed on her, and with a small sigh he simply responded, "I hope you're right."
She was determined to cheer him up. Her words were peppy and enthusiastic. Her hand gripped his, trying to pull him from the ground. With a sigh he got up from the sandy ground, standing with Elissa, hating the conversation that had come up. "We need to do something to get my mind off things." He said softly, putting on somewhat of a smile. His eyes stared off into the distance, trying to put his mind on something else. The melodic pull and tug of the waves seemed to lull the anxiety and sadness that had overcome his being. It was hard being depressed all the time. You never wanted to do anything. You just wanted to mope around and analyze how pathetic you really were. It got tiring after a while.

"'Hope'? Well, don't hope! Know! Know that I'll always be right. Because it's the truth." Elissa said pridefully. Of course, the fact that she was always right wasn't true. She just said it because she thinks it's true... and in truth, she also said it to make herself feel better about the two brothers and her abilities. Though, if it didn't go well with the two of them and got worse because of her intervention... well, she'd rather not think about that. It would be very ugly though, she knew that much.
"Huh? You want to do something else?" Elissa blinked, as she stared blankly at Caesar. She let go of it, as she clapped her hands together, which could be considered a signature pose of hers by now. "I know what we can do! Hey, Caesar, are you hungry? Oh, what a silly question by me, men are always hungry! And so am I from that long ferry ride! So how about I cook us something to eat?" Elissa smiled at Caesar, not knowing that her cooking could be considered 'venomous' or 'poisonous'.
